Max Amend

Max Amend is an experienced tutor with 6 years of experience working with students ranging from the elementary grades through high school. Having come from a selective private high school in the Bay Area, Max understands how to best support students struggling to meet the demanding atmosphere of the 21st century high school experience. Max is especially recognized for his ability to elevate his teen pupils' appreciation of the English subject and thus expand their command of the subject through enhanced understanding.

Max is currently a student at the University of Notre Dame.

Max has a current Certificate of Clearance on file with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Max has taught with the San Francisco Unified School District and at Bellarmine College Preparatory Summer School in San Jose, CA.
